Terms and Conditions

Beyond the Classroom is a subsidiary brand of Surf & Sun Pty Ltd. When you purchase an activity, camp or site hire with Beyond the Classroom you are purchasing a credit to the value of that booking. Subject to these terms and conditions you may use that credit toward any activities operated by Beyond the Classroom.‌Surf & Sun Pty Ltd and Adventures Beyond Group Pty Ltd and associated trusts and trading names may appear on your statements / account emails.

Beyond the Classroom packages other operator’s products / experiences with our own experiences and these operators may have their own terms and conditions.

Booking Terms - A booking is confirmed by accepting the booking form via online confirmation page OR replying to an email clearly stating you wish to proceed with the activity as quoted. Once you have confirmed your booking you are committed to that booking and subject to these terms and conditions. A deposit invoice based on 30% of the full amount will be issued with 7 day payment terms.Final numbers must be advised 21 days prior to the activity or camp. Failure to provide participant information by this time will attract an administration fee of $200. A balance invoice will be issued based on the final numbers and payment is due prior to the activity or camp.Please note that should booking numbers change the following may apply. Quoted fixed costs of the activity or camp are required in full based on the number for the booking. Should you have an increase in numbers you will be subject to extra costs for the individual numbers. Should you have reduced numbers, the variable costs may be adjusted subject to the booking terms and conditions.For more details please contact your experience advisor.

Payment Terms -Deposit invoice - payable within 7 days of issueFull payment - required prior to activity or campAdministration fee of $200 - applies to late receipt of participant information.Payment can be made by EFT or credit card, 1.5% surcharge applies to all credit card payments.Late payment post activity attracts a 10% administration fee.All prices are Australian Dollars $AU.

Transfers and Changes - Bookings made with Beyond the Classroom are classified as a credit - changes to your booking are subject to agreement with Beyond the Classroom and may be arranged depending on the activity. A change fee may be applicable.

Cancellation Policy - Should you have to cancel a booking the following cancellation fees apply 29+ days 30%, less than 28 days 100%.

Adverse Weather and Environmental Conditions PolicyOnce a booking is confirmed, programs generally proceed as scheduled, even in challenging weather or environmental conditions. However, if conditions are deemed unsafe for the planned activity, adjustments will be made. This may include modifying the activity, exploring alternative locations, or substituting with different activities.Should weather or environmental conditions present an unacceptable risk, the activity may be relocated or postponed. A decision regarding postponement will be made prior to the commencement of the activity and we will work with you to arrange a suitable alternate date and or time.

Privacy Policy - Images may be recorded and provided to clients as a memento of the experience or may be used on the Beyond the Classroom website/marketing material. Should you not want this to occur please advise the Beyond the Classroom team at the time of booking. Beyond the Classroom may use your email to send you newsletters, specials or to invite you to join our social media pages. You will have the choice of opting out of this with a no-reply email.

Changes - Beyond the Classroom reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.

Dietary Requirement Policy - Some severe dietary requirements may incur extra costs and are evaluated on a case by case basis.
