Camp Illawonga was originally built in the 1980's as a gymnastics training facility for the Australian Olympic Team. The property has been hosting school camps since the 1990's and Beyond the Classroom took ownership of the camp in 2023.

The property is set on 1800 acres of mallee scrub, with approximately 800 metres of exclusive riverfront access including a marina and riverside campsites. It is a beautiful place set in nature.
