A year in review with Beyond the Classroom

Beyond the Classroom has had a huge year, helping thousands of students to get outdoors, enjoy nature and try new experiences. In November, the business turned 23 years old. It is amazing to still have team members working casually with us for over 20 years. It is also awesome that our passion for the outdoors and adventure still remains the same, even after all these years.

We believe every student should develop life skills through outdoor experiences.

We help students to get outdoors so they can learn, grow and explore.

We deliver engaging outdoor experiences that challenge, reward and inspire.

The team at Beyond the Classroom really want to thank our clients for supporting us in our mission, as without you, we would not exist. So thank you.

Aa we reflect on 2024, there are been numerous changes to our organisation. We have welcomed a number of new amazing people to our team, and farewelled a few too. We would love to acknowledge and thank our team for their hard work and passion.

We have also made a number of improvements including:

• The successful launch, renovation and integration of Camp Illawonga on the Murray River.
• The introduction of our own brand new kayak fleet.
• The relocation of our Adelaide Hills office, to a brand new depot at Willunga. This has centralised our operations bringing 4 separate facilities together.
• Improvements at sites including new ablution blocks at Willow Creek, Aquadecks at Illawonga, new and improved activities, new equipment, new vehicles and more.
• New activity areas, and new itineraries.

We look forward to sharing more with you in 2025, and helping thousands of students to connect with nature, the outdoors, and adventure whilst on one of our programs. We have a lot planned for the new year, so watch this space.
